Michael Moffitt has over 40 years of experience in public accounting, licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and Texas. His experience also includes positions in industry as controller of a 500 million savings and loan, Vice President – Finance of one of the largest parking management companies in the southeastern United States, and CFO and Principal of a wealth management company. Michael has spent considerable time working with small to medium-sized businesses in tax, strategic and structure planning including in the areas of succession, internal controls, and buy-sell arrangements. He has also worked with many not-for-profit entities in the areas of compliance, reporting, controls and compensation planning.
Michael earned the Certified Financial Planner designation in 1991. He also received the AICPA specialist designation as a Personal Financial Specialist. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas with a B.B.A. in Accounting. Michael’s other activities include: Chairman of Inquest Ministries, Inc., and acting as an advisory board member of Mike McCoy Ministries. He has conducted numerous presentations and training programs for not-for-profit boards and staff about current trends and requirements for compliance.
Beverlee Athens is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Georgia and Oklahoma and has over 21 years of accounting experience. She currently serves as the Director of Operations for the firm. Upon obtaining her B.S. in Accounting from East Central University, she began her career as a staff accountant for a large automobile dealer group. She spent three years in the internal audit/tax department assisting with audits, S Corporation and individual tax returns, and dealership purchase and liquidations. The remainder of her automotive career was spent as a controller for both large and small dealerships and as corporate controller for a large multi-franchise group.
Beverlee’s experience includes all aspects of general ledger accounting, payroll and payroll tax reporting, sales tax, internal controls, employee benefits, human resources, cash flow management, contract negotiation, and personnel development. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Angie Flood

Angie joined MSM in August 2016. Angie serves as the head of bookkeeping for the firm and has 15 years of bookkeeping experience. She has owned and operated several successful small businesses. Angie is also a QuickBooks Pro-Advisor and holds a Xero certification. Outside of work, you can find her with her husband watching their two children watching softball or basketball.
Tracey has served as a founding executive board member of her local National Charity League chapter and has also served as a member of the local school district bond election committee. In her free time, Tracey enjoys volunteering with various non-profit organizations, traveling and spending time with her family.

He provides financial and tax consulting services (including Acting CFO) for business and individuals. Clients include service and software companies, medical practices, public relation firms as well as construction and manufacturing operations.
Manage investment portfolios for his own account and others since 1989.
Manages all operations of a charitable foundation since 2001.
Aleta Miller joined MSM in November 2022. As the Office Manager, she’s responsible for coordinating client engagements and communications, managing back-office administration and software applications, and supporting the team. She brings a unique blend of skills and experiences as both a small business owner and in various corporate roles.
Aleta’s most recent background is in financial and technology management at a large financial services corporation. She was responsible for overseeing staff, global networks and all costs for network communications services used by thousands of clients.

Darcy Keeler has been a highly valued member of the MSM team since 2022 and is considered the “go-to” person for various administrative needs for the team, and for managing clients’ profiles and records in our systems.
Darcy’s background is in the IT industry from which she brings several vital skills for the firm. Darcy is the proud mom of four boys, including college-aged twins! She and her husband regularly enjoy attending tailgating events and traveling and camping in their RV.
